Attending Church in Hiroshima

Following my piano training workshop with Yamaha at Hamamatsu and Kakegawa, I visited my son who is teaching English in Hiroshima, about a 3 hour combined train ride west from Hamamatsu. During my visit, we attended his Church, where there is a surprising number of international students and professionals attending. Several of these are from African nations, others from surrounding Asian countries. Higashihiroshima Megumi Church provides English translations of the service via portable wireless transmitters, which were donated to the Church by American missionaries. We first attended the end of a prayer meeting in their old building, and then attended worship service in a new building that was constructed a few years ago.
